This show puts a modern twist on the most famous acts of all time.  It's a chance for today's stars to pay homage to their heroes and find out what it's like to perform as their showbiz legends would have done.  The artists take it in turn to wow viewers with show-stopping performances and treat the audience to a great Saturday night in.

Sir Bruce Forsyth says: “As soon as I heard about this I thought it was a wonderful idea; I can't help being excited.  It will also be great to work with Jane again and with Jimmy.”

Bruce Forsyth's Hall of Fame (w/t) is a Kalooki Pictures and Hat Trick co-production for BBC One.  It has been commissioned by Charlotte Moore, Controller, BBC One and Mark Linsey, Controller, Entertainment Commissioning.  The Executive Producers are Jane Lush and Jimmy Mulville.  The series producer is Martin Dance (Derren Brown, Comic and Sport Relief, Dave's One Night Stand).

Mark Linsey says: “Bruce is a legend of BBC One Saturday night TV and it’s fantastic news that he’ll be back to host this exciting one-off special for us.”

Jane Lush comments: “I couldn't be more excited to be working again with Sir Bruce exactly 10 years since we first embarked on the Strictly Come Dancing adventure together.  And there is no one I would rather have as a co-producing partner than Jimmy Mulville and the brilliant team at Hat Trick.”

Jimmy Mulville adds: "It's such an honour to be working with Sir Bruce again after his classic appearance on Have I Got News For You ten years ago and a delight to be co-producing with Jane Lush whose small team seem to have the biggest and best ideas!"
